The room (one for two people with private bathroom) was very clean and although tiny for European standards, it was quite comfortable. The location is amazing! In a nice neighbourhood with many things to do around, in walking distance to main attractions and quite well connected. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is the option to store your luggage for free. I would totally recommend it.

The interior is really well made, great attention to detail. It was very clean and well prepared for our stay. Since we arrived quite late we didn’t get to meet any of the staff, however check in went very smoothly, we had no issues whatsoever and loved coming back to our little home after full and exhausting days of exploring Kyoto!
