Czech RepublicThere is husband and wife managing the property and they were very kind to me. The whole hostel is built in samurai style which I found really cool and interesting. It is quite far from the city centre but they borrowed me a bike which i could use anytime.

SwitzerlandStaying at this rebuilt hospital was a highlight of our journey. The atmosphere, materials, and lighting is very beautiful. We got very warmly welcomed and it was a pleasure to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the main floor restaurant. We definitely recommend it to spend some calm relaxing days! They also provide bicycles to discover the beautiful nature around or drive to a nearby onsen place or to the sea.

The position is definitely the best for youth hostel. Just cross the bridge can reach the Kumamoto station. The public facilities are clean.

it’s not a hotel , it’s a poor excuse for a youth hostel, felt like a prison , signs all over saying be quiet . No ceilings in the sleep areas . not sound proof at all , heard zipper suitcase in next room.
no separation between sexes.
