This hotel is a must do experience! It was exactly as expected and even more. Japanese aesthetic on its best with amazing atmosphere! Both the owner and the hostess were very friendly and helpful with tips about the city. The welcome sake with local sweets it was more than delicious. We loved everything about it! I wish we had more than one night there!

The decor of the guesthouse is super cool. It was all done by the owner by hand! The sleeping area is small but practical and comes with all necessities, plug, light, fan. There is also a coffee and fridge etc for food The owners are really friendly and helped me out so much when I fell ill when staying at the guesthouse. They made me feel so welcome and they were so kind and hospitable There are also 2 bicycles you can use for free

Staying at this rebuilt hospital was a highlight of our journey. The atmosphere, materials, and lighting is very beautiful. We got very warmly welcomed and it was a pleasure to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the main floor restaurant. We definitely recommend it to spend some calm relaxing days! They also provide bicycles to discover the beautiful nature around or drive to a nearby onsen place or to the sea.

The position is definitely the best for youth hostel. Just cross the bridge can reach the Kumamoto station. The public facilities are clean.

it’s not a hotel , it’s a poor excuse for a youth hostel, felt like a prison , signs all over saying be quiet . No ceilings in the sleep areas . not sound proof at all , heard zipper suitcase in next room. no separation between sexes.
