They Facilities were great, the location was quiet and close to a grocery store. The people staying there were all fellow travellers who made the stay very enjoyable. when I left I forgot my ski pants and jacket in the room, and when I realised 4 days later Cari the manager immediately went looking for them within 15 minutes of my call and found them laying exactly where I had left them, with the cash still in the pockets. incredibly trustworthy and eager to please. 12/10

Great spot for skiing, a quick walk to the chairs. Excellent facilities, very clean. Great hosts. The breakfast is substantial and very good. Lots of options for all. An excellent ski locker and drying room. Easy access from the street. And a coin-op laundry. Rooms are spacious and the lounge area is great. Highly recommend the foot massage after a day on the mountain.

The staff are super friendly and made our stay as comfortable as possible, the shuttle services made life so easy we were in want of nothing. They also partner with a ski rental store that collects your gear from the lodge when you done, if you are looking for a no-hassles stay in Hakuba this a good option.

It’s beautiful to be in the common area with those glass windows and everything snowy outside and the lodge is very clean. Good wifi too. But the best is their staff. They are welcoming and very kind. Flexible and helpful. They drove me with my suitcase and ski gear case. Thank you very much for everything I felt very welcomed and comfortable

Toshi and Megumi couldn't do enough for us - we felt very spoilt! Their advice and support was invaluable (eg all their restaurant and onsen recommendations were spot on) and they made our holiday memorable. Their lovely hostel has a well equipped tidy kitchen, dining room and a cosy lounge. Make use of their great value resort shuttle service - heaps quicker and cheaper than the Hakuba Valley shuttle.

Gaspard the owner/operator is fantastic! Great guy and very knowledgable about Hakuba. His backpackers lodge is great fun. Would definitely recommend this to people travelling to Hakuba. Great opportunities to socialise and meet new people! Liam and Bianca the staff were also very helpful and great fun.

The Bohemians’ Shelter is the best hostel in Hakuba. The facilities are new and clean. Gaspard is an amazing host that will help you to enjoy Hakuba ski resort. Free schedules on morning and evening are really convenient. Breakfast is included and dinner can be can prepared also. The beer on top is also a plus !

Great location close to the shuttle bus that took you to the ski fields We couldn't have asked for better hosts - so helpful with information and transportation. They were so welcoming and warm - I felt like they welcomed us into their home. The hostel was immaculately clean. It has a great kitchen and shared lounge dining space. A perfect location for a family ski trip.
