Stayed at this hostel recently and I'm really impressed! The perfect balance between socializing and personal space - they organize fun afternoon activities where you can meet other travelers, but there's no pressure if you want some quiet time instead. The facilities are top-notch: spotless rooms and really comfortable beds. Staff makes a huge difference here - they're super friendly and always ready to help or chat. Location is unbeatable, just 2 minutes from the metro station. As someone who stayed alone in a hostel for the first time, I couldn't have picked a better place. The safe and welcoming atmosphere completely put me at ease. Between the great experience and fantastic location, I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

Modern/nice hostel, friendly staff, great kitchen & common areas. Bathroom in/attached to the hostel room and additional bathrooms in the hall. Happy hour is great for cheap drinks for those travelling on a budget. Location is decent I was able to walk to most things and there’s a tram stop nearby to get you to the train station. Laundry service was great.

The hostel offers a fun while meeting new people everywhere and everyday. This is my second time in Koala and both experiences have been extremely great. The rooms are either private or shared with other travellers and you can have a beer at the common area 24h open. I totally recommend it if you want to meet new people while staying in a fun and safe place

The room and my bed was clean and fresh. You can get a towels as well. I really liked, that every bed has its own curtain so you get a privacy. The design of the bunk beds are amazing, I mean ordinary wooden stairs lead up to the bunk bed not a ladder, given more privacy and your own space as it would be a separate "tiny room" upstairs :)) The room has its own bathroom with toilet. The design of the hostel is so cool, with amazing terraces and common areas. On of the best hostel I've ever been.

Great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cabins provided good privacy and they were spacious. A towel was provided for free. I also liked that the top bunk beds had a place to put your shoes which I have never seen in any other hostels.

This hostel is in a great location really close to the city center on foot. It was clean, the people working there were really kind and the beds were comfortable. Also their system with the locks and lockers make you feel safe with your persomal items

Koala hostel was in a great location, close to a subway station, walking distance from Milano Centrale railway station and also possible to walk to the Duomo area. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a comfortable lounge area with lots of books and also a small bar. Despite the close proximity to excellent transport links, the hostel was peaceful at night, so I felt safe and had a great sleep!

Great value to money, cheap and good for a night or two. Shared room with bunk beds. They are very accommodating last minute as well. Very cheap, safe and near Lambrate station. They give you new bed linens and is a good hostel overall. Good experience.

The receptionist was very kind, the room was safe, the bathroom was brilliant, as an old backpacker I could say is the best hostel I ever been. Definitely if I come back to Milan one day I'll be there.
