The atmosphere in the hostel is very friendly and social! Staff is fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was bigger than I thought! If I go back to Bologna I would choose them again.

This is a great accommodation option, set in the lovely mountains, on the Via Degli Dei and the German Gothic Line of World War 2. It is 5 kms from the train station at Vado, and 4kms from Monzuno. There are buses to both towns. For an inexpensive hot meal (takeaway) option, I would strongly recommend Sonia next door. You will need to book ahead and the host's will give you contact numbers. I tried all 3 accommodations at the residence - tent, bungalow, and apartment -, and they were all cozy and inexpensive. The host couple are most hospitable and helpful. Great value! Good value for the price. A mix of many different people, but still quiet at night. The nearby train station is taken out of traffic. But its a short walk to the bus and not far to the main train- and airport shuttle-train station. Just 30-45 minutes walk to the old city center.
