We had an exceptional corner room filled with light on the top floor with a view of the church and very good connections. We were visiting for a conference at Harpa, which was just a brief walking distance away. What a lovely place all in all, the kitchen worked perfectly. Very friendly staff and neighbours, could not have asked for anything better.

Everything was awesome ! The share bathroom was clean and there are actually 2 bathrooms with shower and toolet and one extra toilet for 4 rooms, so its quite private:) kitchen was fully equiped and we even have kettle, a Lot of teas, coffee maker and coffee and milk in our room.. room was quiet - when someone was showering across our room even at 1am we heard nothing :) room was with good temperature and position of this appartment was just great, we walked everywhere because it was so close to anything :) and we can storage our bags there after check out and thats was really helpfull:) thank you!

The bar/breakfast/common room is amazing, with a great terrace and such nice design - as well as the whole hostel - such nice vibes. Even the courtains in the room were really good and dark (the midnight sun is amazing, but if you're not used to it, it's a bummer at night). The doors close quite loud so that was a bit of a nuisance, but I overlooked complementary earplugs at the reception - take them!

Nice place! Staff were friendly, though the reception is not 24/7. Nice big seating area for food or hanging out or playing board games (which there were a lot to choose from). Dorm was 4 bed female, good size, basic hostel vibe. One girl was snoring like a horse but I had earplugs so I was fine. Don't forget to bring earplugs though.

Incredible service from the staff here. I was in an awkward situation and they spent the time to reaccomodate me in difficult circumstances. It’s always tidy. It’s cosy. It has cool events on. I felt very safe and even at home on this stay. Best hostel in Reykjavík, definitely recommend booking while it’s available.

Great Location, very popular hostel with travellers from all over the world. Great party hostel vibe, if that’s your thing. Breakfast provided at a cost was excellent. Smooth check in . I would advise if going with friends to book together, otherwise you will not be guaranteed to be sharing a dormitory like in our case. Beds ok does the job.

Friendly staff when you actively approach them yourself, room mates and great location. It was clear that they attempt to keep things clean (but given the small amount of bathrooms and large amount of guests, it can get dirty). It’s an Alright budget friendlier option (in terms of Icelandic pricing) for a few nights if you are ok with a very basic hostel experience and out and about most of the time anyway as I was. Rooms were mostly clean

Great location ! A 5 minute walk from the main part of the city, friendly staff, our bed was super comfortable and the room itself was lovely and warm! Key code entry system was great too, felt safe and didn’t have to worry about leaving a key somewhere, perfect to stay at if you’re trying to see Iceland on a budget

It's a classic backpacker hostel, very well situated, near a supermarket, to the sea and few minutes from center town. I slept in mixed dormitory. All kind of servics are available; it's possible to cook there.

Great location, easy walk from bus station. Clean. Very safe measures with a code to enter each room. Arrived at 2am, easily got in with codes and found bed and towel. Next door to geothermal swimming pool, $8.50, but free for those 67 and older. Good price for hostel in Iceland! Very pleased with my stay.
