We had an incredible stay at Turtle Hostel! My best friend, her brother, and I were given a very warm welcome by the amazing team. We celebrated a birthday and Christmas there, and we felt like part of the family. Thank you so much! 🫶🏻 The hostel is very pretty, clean, and welcoming, and the incredibly friendly team truly embodies the spirit of this place. I highly recommend this hostel for a stay in Udaipur!

My recent hostel experience was fantastic! The accommodation was impeccably clean and central, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The highlight was an evening of Bollywood dances, where guests and staff joined in the celebration. The atmosphere was simply contagious! Having been in catering and hospitality all my life I have high standards of expectation and hostel Mantra did not disappoint. Initial communication was very good. When you arrive at a property even late at night you want a warm greeting so be prepared for the most friendly, chatty ( yes she can talk) and just bubbly personality of Jairja. We had an en-suite double room which was very clean, comfortable bed and a good size. Up on the roof is the bar, restaurant and relaxing area and wow what a view of the lake and Udaipur. We celebrated Diwali here with fireworks from our roof as well as everyone around. What makes this such a special place and ranks alongside our favourite ever hostel The Laughing Leopard in Sri Lanka is the staff. From the three Amigos lads who kept it all tidy to Ashish who headed the team and all those in between they kept the place buzzing with stuff going on from early morning bike ride to the hills for sunrise to an epic Kareoke night. Now we are in our 60’s in fact I’m nearer 70 but we were included in all that went on and still found places to relax. Bear in mind this was Diwali. If you want a boring hotel room don’t stay here. They also have dorms.

So for me this has been the best hostel experience during my trip in India. The location Is beautiful, you can enjoy your meal while looking at the view from the rooftop. The rooms are very clean and so the bathroom. There Is a pool table!!!!! The staff Is super friendly and dinesh really makes you feel at home and provides a lot of useful information. i'm really grateful to him because while i was in udaipur i had food poisoning and he took care of me like a brother. Thanks!!!!!

It was an amazing experience! Unlike many other hostels, this one felt more like a hotel with all the essential amenities, but at a very reasonable price. The rooms were incredibly clean, well-maintained, and far better than what I’ve experienced in other hostels. His flexible arrangements and supportive attitude impressed us to stay at this property with our family. Everything! The view from the upstairs is breathtaking. The hostel also has a great location within walking distance from the main tourist attractions. The stuff and owners were very polite and cooperative which made the stay at the property even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this hostel if you want a budget, comfortable and enjoyable stay in Udaipur

Tamasha is one of the best hostels we've ever stayed in! Pragya and Elivia are such gems and went above and beyond to make our stay the best! The scooty tour was great fun and we got to see the beautiful Bodi lake. They also made a special surprise for our anniversary which was so thoughtful of them! Very social hostel in a great location.

Simply the best hostel I’ve stayed at in India so far. The private room and bathroom was the cleanest (hot water did take some minutes to get hot but that’s the norm) Staff were friendly, helping me in advance with sunrise tour, booking a taxi to Jodhpur. The rooftop was amazing to chill at with some beers at sunset. Quite social as well. Sunrise tour they organised for cheap. Location is amazing. Few minutes walk from the city palace and many restaurants nearby.

I have been traveling for almost the last 2 years and this was the best hostel so far. Dinesh and Sandeep both are very friendly. I had an amazing time. Beautiful view from the rooftop. Perfect place for morning yoga, and sunset ❤️. Lot of events going on. You can watch movie on projector, play board games etc. - clean and hygienic. Loved 8 bed dormitory. Very spacious.

3raahi backpacker hostel udaipur. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere. Most friendly and helpful staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hostel. Everything about the hostel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish. Food was good and great value for money. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The staff in Hostel Mantra will do everything to welcome you as you're coming home. Located next to the lake, you'll be able to enjoy fresh evenings on the rooftop. They are also offering free Chai at sunset! Don't miss it! The 8 and 6 bed dormitory are super comfy, and spacious! The backpacker vibe at this hotel is definitely there.
