I really liked the place. It's situated in a cozy area called Sarnath a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of Varanasi's city center. I really had a good time here, was able to do Yoga every day on the huge terrace and really fell in love with the place. The owners made me feel like at home here and they're really helpful and generous with the guests coming here. It's the perfect place if you want to escape the loud, crowded and demanding city center. Also, the food you can order directly at the hostel is sooo delicious for a very good price. All in all, a wonderful experience here.

The accommodation has a fantastic location and very friendly staff. The photos correspond to reality. Cleanliness is at a good level, toiletries, hot water, drinking water, facilities with games and a rooftop restaurant are available. There was no problem with parking our car either.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay at a fantastic price. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gypsy Diaries ! The staff treated me like family, and for that I consider them my brothers. Nitin, Sunu and the young boys made my stay in Varanasi as authentic and enjoyable as I could have hoped. They're genuine, helpful, fun and easy to talk with. They looked after me when I wasn't feeling the best, and they accommodated any last minute requests that I had. Memories and friendships were made in the afternoon over backyard cricket. Clean dorms and bathrooms. Spacious rooms with lockers and curtains. Terrace and social areas. Waterstation. Gypsy diaries is quite central everything is easy to get to. It's about a 15/20 min walk from Ganga and ghats. I had no issue with the walk. About 10/15 mins away from Varanasi station by tuk tuk. And about 10km away/ 25 min drive to Sarnath.

Great place in varanasi, very well located, near the ganges and ceremonies. The staff is helpful and kind. The beds are well equipped, light, fan, charging socket. The wifi works very well. There is a rooftop terrace and a restaurant for dining. I recommend this place.
