Such a kind host - he himself is a hidden gem! The property has the perfect location for taj mahal visit, just 10 min walk to the east gate. It also features a rooftop with a perfectly stunning view of the taj mahal. Bed was super comfortable too, also providing a view things that you‘ll just appreciate when travelling India (like liquid soap at that washing facilities, towel etc.). Also I was checking in at 4 am due to traffic jam - and the host made no big deal about it, he made me feel so comfortable. Thank you, Moyu!

Just walking distance from tajmahal east gate entrance. Staff is ready to help, thanks to pappi who make us delicious breafast, delicious home cooked food, I specially like terrace here. Big locker in the sharing room. Also a nice family running this hostel.

Zigzag is a great mix of hostel and homestay - all the friendliness and local advice of a homestay whilst being really sociable with other travellers and offering lots of activities. Moses is a wonderful personable and caring host - super attentive without being overbearing at all. I was really unwell when I arrived at Zigzag and Moses was incredibly kind, checking in if I needed anything, offering advice and letting me check out late.

Only a few minutes walk from the Taj Mahal, with a view of it from the roof terrace. As a budget option, the place is ideal, especially when the weather is bit warmer (though extra blankets were kindly provided due to the cold - it was January). Bobby, the owner, is an excellent host, always happy to help wherever needed. There's also an amazing restaurant (Amazing Restaurant) just down the road with very good, affordable food. If you're coming for a night or two to see Agra on a budget, I would recommend staying here.
