Staff were exceptional… always so friendly to chat to and advise about what u needed aswell as hosting activities. Free yoga, massages, breakfast and mani pedis were a great touch! Group tours were readily available to help you see Ubud whilst still socialising so perfect for solo travellers who are looking for extra company on days out! Couldn’t recommend more we had an amazing stay.

First of all the family and the dog are so lovely, they made me feel right at home 😊 The house and dormitory are aesthetically beautifull! Zoro is an artist and that shows in the building and decoration. The location Bisma Valley has a lot of restaurants and spa's and minimarkets to choose from. Also very close to Monkey Forest. The bed was so comfortable and everything is clean as Wayan and Vino clean the place everyday! Nice airco for perfect temperature and big lockers to put your bag and clothes in. Definitely coming back!

Very beautiful and also really relaxed place! I like the staff and they really tried with speaking English to me. The breakfast was a nice plus.

I originally planned to stay at Kuna for just a couple of days during my solo trip… and ended up staying for over a week — that’s how amazing this place is! This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are absolutely lovely — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. A huge thank you to everyone working at Kuna — you made me feel like part of the family 🥹 Your kindness and support meant the world to me. The beds are spacious and super comfy, and the rooms and bathrooms were always clean and well-maintained. There’s also a bar with great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The location couldn’t be better — just 5 minutes to the Monkey Forest and 1 minute to the nearest shop. As a bonus, we were offered free 15-minute massages, which were surprisingly amazing! Breakfast is included, with three delicious options to choose from every morning. Even if you don’t have a set plan, there’s always something fun to do here — the hostel organizes daily activities that make it easy to meet people and experience something new every day. I also met so many fellow backpackers from around the world — it was such a great community vibe. Whether you arrive solo or with friends, you’ll never feel alone here. For me, staying at Kuna wasn’t just about the place — it was about the people. It felt like home, and I’ll carry these memories with me forever. 💛

I stayed 6 nights in total and extended a few times because i loved it so much. The staff was very nice, the vibes were very chill. I loved the pool and the free breakfast. I stayed in two different rooms, the garden room (women only) was the best! Big beds, big lockers and i loved that the toilets and showers were outside of the room.

The hostel is walking distance from the center. The family is so nice and welcoming. They always gave us good recommendations. The breakfast was included in the price and was delicious!
