Staying on Gili Air, look no further than this gem. Just off the main drag, a short walk from the beach and with a beautiful pool to relax at, I loved my stay here. The rooms and facilities were clean, and the owners were so welcoming, helping us organize our Komodo tour. Plus, it actually was more social than I thought it would be based on the reviews! Met some really great friends here.

Personal really nice and friendly, always open for helping or just even for talk. The view is amazing and you have space outside for chill. Very clean and you can do your laundry (smell very good) Just one thing, missing small lamps in the bedroom. I very recommend this place!!!

Nice vibes! I like the fact that’s not a party hostel. Met friendly people here and enjoyed the walk to see the sunset, organized by the owner.

Staying at De Chicktoria was the closest I felt to truly experiencing Indonesian culture. Heri, the host, went above and beyond to ensure every guest's comfort and privacy. Indeed, he thoughtfully provided separate rooms whenever possible. Whenever I wanted to dive into the social side of hostel life, the common area was the perfect spot. I spent countless hours engaging in fascinating conversations with the friendly and knowledgeable staff and travelers. Their insights and stories enriched my stay and deepened my appreciation for the local culture. Can't wait to go back.

Some places really do leave an imprint on your Soul, and Uncle Hippie's is one of them. Because the place has been built with so much care, love and a truly collaborative approach between local and foreign investment .... there is an accompanying feeling that you get when you arrive. Yuri is a lovely legend, chill vibes all round. The place is petite and the rooms are small but have everything you need. Love the bamboo structures. It's close to amazing snorkelling (turtles!) and eateries .... the island is tiny so you can walk / cycle everywhere. I hope to return x
