The person at reception was very kind and the staff were very communicative and friendly on WhatsApp. The kitchen offered free drinking water. The room was really big and lovely. Over the years of traveling, I have seen many hostels. This one is among the best, comparable to Seattle hostels. Very clean, comfortable, everything is well-organized in the house, comfortable sleeping places. The owner is very hospitable! Right on the spot, they organized a tour to the volcano Ijen for me, for which I came here. The place is quiet, calm, on the river bank, but there are no mosquitoes. A dream of a perfectionist traveler!😃

Very nice and clean and amazing furniture, but the best part was the lovely staff. We only spent the day as we had been hiking to the Ijen crater during the night and needed a place to have a shower and get some sleep before leaving for mt Bromo the same night but it was a perfect place to do so. the staff was so friendly and we spent several hours just chatting to them. They recommended good restaurants and shared their personal experiences and culture.
