The staff were nice and helpful. Beds were really comfortable compared to most other hostels, and the aircon worked great. You get fresh towels and linens, and beds are equipped with lights (too bright though) and wallplugs and you get a spacious locker that you can lock. Kitchen had a fridge, stove, kettle, etc. A communal balcony was a bonus! The people I met there were also really great so I got lucky there too. Location was also close to the palace (main city centre) and bus stop.

Everything, the ladies that own and run this hostel are the best, so kind and attentive always going the extra mile to make sure you’re happy and well looked after. They treat guests like you’re their own child in the best way possible ❤️ The hostel was super clean and was well stocked of extras/toiletries/snacks which I really appreciated. The breakfasts they do here are amazing too, sort of like a fancy grazing platter, I looked forward to it every morning.

This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at! I loved it! It's like a home away from home, so cosy and warm. I liked it so much I came back to Split to celebrate my birthday in this hostel. Everyone was just so nice here, they even made a small surprise for my birthday! The room I was staying at has an amazing view and balcony and the bed was comfy. The location is perfect, 5 minutes away from the Old town. Everything is kept very clean, the staff are super helpful and they go above and beyond to help you and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you Nadia and Bindi for being such great hosts! I will for sure come back!

The owner has been really nice et welcoming, told me about Split history, told me where to go. My room was updated as there was no one else around. The room was big, spacious, comfortable and super clean. Location was few minutes away from the historical center.

I had a wonderful stay at Oasis Hostel. It is located close to the centre if Split however it is just far enough away to be peaceful. I stayed in a mixed 8 bed room and felt very comfortable and safe as a solo female traveller. The bed was very comfortable and each bed had a locker and plug socket near the bed. Aircon and good Wifi was a bonus! It's not spotless clean but it is really tidy and the female toilets were very clean. Marko is also very friendly and helpful and is easily reachable.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
