It was in the very centre of Edinburgh, the same street that goes straight to the Edinburgh castle 😍, the staff and people were AMAZING, it was a GREAT value for money, we had a lot of kitchen facilities, very good and clean bathrooms, fun events which most are for free. The rooms themselves were fun because each has a theme from films like Harry Potter, trainspotting etc. And the beds were comfortable 🥰 I felt very safe and had so much fun. Also the breakfast was in a very good price and the towels and lockers were free so that was amazing, REALLY recommend 🥹❤️

There is plenty of good thing to be said about that magical place. Let's begin with perfect location of the hostel which is right next to the castle of Edinburgh and of course a few minutes walk from the main street. The place is clean and tidy and the staff was really friendly and helpful. For those of you who are traveling only by theirselves I can reassure you that you are not going to be disappointed because this place hosts events almost every night where you can easily meet new people from all around the world and have fun. This place is definitely worth visiting.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location, the hostel felt safe and clean, was nice to only have ladies around and jeez that was like the only hostel I found with 2-level bunk beds (as opposed to 3-levels in most places!) I forgot my phone charger and the staff helped me, thanks a lot. Nice shower too.

Hostel has a great location right at The Royal Mile, so close to most attractions and to bus and train station. Personel is friendly and provides additional activities. They have towels inclided in price. It is a typical backpacker place with kitchen access. Place is not to big, but works fine for people on budget.

Great location, I stayed here multiple times during my trip in Scotland. Room had view of castle. Bathrooms and rooms were clean. Kitchen and seating areas available and clean. Good wifi and PowerPoints at every bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did let me check in 30 minutes early. Cheap to use laundry machines. Heating in rooms. Exceeded my expectations for a low price. One of the best hostels I've stayed in regarding cleanliness!
