The staff were so nice, and I would stay here again if I come back to Rovaniemi! Helena was absolutely amazing- I rented a bike on her third day of work, but it unfortunately wasn't working right. I was very stressed that I would have to walk back for an hour and a half with the bike, but she talked with her boss and gave me a full refund. The next day, I missed pick up for a tour I booked, and Helena let me use her phone to contact the company. She was so so helpful, and I cannot stress this enough. It was her third day at work, and she solved so many issues. Sarath was also amazing! He helped with the bike a lot by filling the tires with air, and he even picked it up from the location so that I wouldn't have to walk all the way back with it. Overall, amazing staff and comfy beds.

I booked this place because it was cheap- I don’t usually take chances on hostels with such low ratings as this had- but I am so glad I did with this one. It was cozy and felt like a home. You cannot beat this price and value for money in Rovaniemi. The sauna was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and there was an instant homely feeling coming back after a long day- the heating is really, really good. You’re a short walk away from a supermarket and also a stunning national park with forest trails and picnic shelters with bbqs- this national park is also known for being a good spot to see the northern lights! You’re also a short walk from a bus stop which connects you with the town centre and all of the main attractions with ease. The area is quiet and peaceful and feels very safe. All in all I would rebook this place in a heartbeat- a hidden gem in Rovaniemi- and a great option for solo travellers coming on a budget.
