This albergue was an unexpected surprise. Beautiful location next to an impressive church. Seems quite new. The cafe downstairs was also superb. After a few days along the Camino, it was great to have fresh, delicious food. Owners are lovely people. It’s a great family business. Gracias!

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Viana. The room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. Dave, who runs the place, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I also really enjoyed chatting with him, it made the stay feel even more personal.

An amazing, quiet location. Just what we were looking for. They offer both food service and a self-catering kitchen. We went for a random walk and discovered the trail leading to 2 dinosaur footprint locations. About 2 hours return from the lodge. Cross over the river and head up towards the old church. A fairly flat path with great views following the contours of the mountains. We did it with closed sandals.
