I'm doing the Camino Portuguese and stayed at La Sigrina Hostal. The location could not be better. It is very near to the center of Tuin, but just behind in a quiet place. The room is small, but it just has everything that you need. The service is just the best. Because they are very accommodating, I was allowed to get my breakfast before the time scheduled. The reason for that was, it is too hot in Spain and Portugal at this moment and you need to get to your destination (17 km) by foot as soon as possible. It is a public holiday in Spain (25 of July), and I was only able to get my first cup of coffee at the final destination at 11:00 o'clock in Porriño. So, this action saved my day as it gave me fuel to walk the 17km without losing energy. This just shows the kindness of people and why the Camino to Santiago so special is.

The hostel is very comfortable and clean. Nuria was very kind and warmly welcomed us on a rainy day. The hot water is hot, and the environment is relaxed, allowing us to rest quickly after a whole day of rain. The next day when we had to leave, her husband took us to the next city because of the bad weather conditions. We were super happy to meet a warm host at the beginning of our journey on the Camino.

I loved everything about this hostel. It is spotless, well organised, instructions very clear about expectations in the hostel, a special space for smelly boots rather than in the bedrooms. Excellent, generous breakfast was included. Jesus the owner/manager was so helpful and kind. 100% what you want at the end of a long, hard first day!
