Omar is an amazing host and a genuinely kind person. He picked us up by boat and even helped carry our bags to the ferry when we left. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated, with stunning artwork and thoughtful construction. The beds were incredibly comfortable—I had the best sleep of my entire trip. And it’s super clean ( everywhere!) The internet worked perfectly, though we hardly needed it as we spent most of our time exploring. At first, we were concerned about the compact bathroom, but the shower worked great without any flooding. Breakfast was served every morning, and Omar even prepared an early meal for our Abu Simbel trip. We also booked our Abu Simbel driver and airport taxi through him at a fair price, and we felt completely safe. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast on the rooftop, surrounded by morning birds and the peaceful jungle-like atmosphere. If I could, I’d give Omar a 10+ rating—his hospitality is truly heartfelt, and I hope more people get to experience and support his wonderful guesthouse.

Doroka is the best hotel in the Nubian village: beautiful, authentic, quiet and welcoming. The room is great: amazing view on the Nile, nice balcony, good AC, comfortable bed and beautiful decoration. And the staff is the best! Everyone is so kind, welcoming, helpful and positive. The food is also really good! Ahmed, the hotel manager, helped me to navigate Aswan activities and options. He organized private tours for me at a very fair price and gave me some good pieces of advice so that I don't get scammed. He is a very reliable, helpful and friendly manager. I loved my stay at Doroka Nubian house and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to relax in a beautiful environment while visiting the main attractions of Aswan.

Bonita Chillhouse is a super cozy spot tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. You get a lovely view of the Nile, and it’s just a five-minute walk to a large supermarket. The ferry to visit the islands is also within walking distance. The owner is incredibly helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay smooth and enjoyable. The place is always clean and well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen and solid internet. It's still new, but you can feel the love and care that's gone into creating it. Overall, a really nice and relaxing experience — definitely recommend!

Best accomodation ever on my Egypt trip. The owner gave me most of useful information which you need during your stay. You can rely on him to book all services around Aswan with reasonable price. Good view from room and their small arrea to Nile river, and they have a small front yard with a big fan to cool down after a hot day trip.

Very beautiful place, well taken care of, with colorful paintings on the walls, Nubian style. The owners were very kind and welcoming. They helped us with the trip to Abu Simbel and with transfers. They welcomed us with a cup of mint tea, which they grow themselves. The breakfast they prepared was delicious and very big. Amazing quality for good price. Strongly recommend!

The hotel is in a privileged location, with stunning views of the Nile and direct access down a set of stairs. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, perfect to relax. The room was excellent: spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Asmaa, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She also cooks wonderfully – if you’re lucky enough to try her traditional homemade food, you’ll truly enjoy it. The breakfasts were fantastic too, and one morning she even prepared a takeaway breakfast for our excursion. I absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They gave me plenty of recommendations and did not overcharge for water (like many hostels and hotels do). The area felt safe as staff as well as locals from the village would assist if need be.

Property is in a quiet area of Aswan, away from the noisy city. Crossing the street it has an exclusive area to swim into the Nile river or do some kayaking, which are rented for a cheap price. They also offer water and soft drinks and a small breakfast included. You can easily spend many days relaxing in the hostel, without even leaving to do attractions.

Great owner who was very helpful, the room was nice, and I loved the view from the rooftop! The hostel is on the island and is very easy and cheap to reach by public ferry (takes 5mins). Walking around the island is also fun. Check out King Jamaica for some good food. :)
