This is my second time staying at Ithaka Raml Hostel which is becoming like home in Alex for me. Perfect location, walking distance to almost all main attractions. Supermarkets and cafes all around. Amazing interior colours and common space. Clean rooms, comfy beds, tasty filling breakfast and decent WiFi. Super friendly staff that make you feel like family or a missed old friend. 🥰❤️

I had a really good time at Youth Palace. The place is clean, cozy and you’ve got everything you need. Each floor is equipped with a kitchen. Adham the host is one of the most beautiful human beings that I have come across in my Egypt trip. He is friendly, attending to the guests needs and just has such a good vibe. He was showing us the neighbourhood, introducing us the best street food around the suburb and places to get fruit so we can get the local price. The people here have frankly made Alexandria my fav place in Egypt.

Everything! If you like friendly old fashioned atmospheres this is the place to be. The building is beautiful, the team helpful and careful, the position is perfect: very central and close to nice cafés. The room was big, with a refrigerator and a great ventilator (you don’t really need a/c, unless you are a real fan of it). I would definitely be back! As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe!
