I am not a big fan of Montañita but this place is just lovely. It is a 15 minute walk out of the town center. You can also take a bike which is provided by the hostel. The outside area is nice and chill, the room and the bed are comfy. All facilities are tidy and clean. Very close to the beach. You can rent surf boards and even enjoy surf lessons from the countries longboard champions. Olón is a 30 minutes walk if you want surf at another beach. And if you are not into surfing or you want to stretch your sore muscles, join the yoga lessons. I travel alone and I felt like among friends there.

A beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The location was just stunning, with access directly onto the beach. Although it’s a little bit out from the main town of Montañita, it’s so easy to get in either via a 2 minute taxi or very pleasant walk along the beach. It’s also a short walk to the town of Manglaralto which has anything you might need - nice/affordable local restaurants, grocery shops, markets, etc. Pablo was a great host, and even helped us gain our Open Water Diving Certificate while we were there!!

Everyone is super nice here, while the hostel is still super chill. Good mixture of social and relaxing. Love the rooftop as well, very tranquil view.

I liked it, the hotel has a nice garden, the rooms are comfortable, all the furniture in teak wood and fast internet. It was what I was looking for, a quiet place within walking distance to the beach. The managers Susan and Ruben are very charismatic people.

This is the most peaceful place I have stayed in all my years travelling. It is so tranquil and lovely, right next to the beach. The only sound I could hear was the waves on the shore.
