SpainThe place is quiet and peaceful surrounded by nature (we got avocados and bananas directly from the trees in the garden). The commun kitchen is full equiped and always clean, and the commun areas are perfect for chatting with other guests. The two owners are lovely and always keen to help you with whatever you need. The beautiful beach of Madama is within 45 min walking through the jungle, and Fronton beach is within 1h30.

United KingdomLiterally couldn’t be better, hostel room was super cozy with complete privacy inside your bunk, and the public spaces were beautiful and really well kept. The photos don’t even do it justice, since they were taken all the surrounding plants and garden has grown into a lush jungle around the main building. One of the owners, Austin, was an absolute pleasure to speak with as are all of the rest of the staff and guests, truly a hub for brilliant people in one of the most untouched an beautiful places I have ever stayed. I can’t wait to come back to El Valle !!

Best Traveller Hostel
It s a nice hostel with even nicer people working there. Angie, Sophie and Thai helped me wherever they could...giving great hiking informations, organizing my travel, finding my next hostel as well as organising affordable ways to go to great places and come back.... This girls are just beautiful and I had a great time with them. I will never forget. I highly recommend this hostel to all travelers, especially the ones who travel alone.

rare to find a backpackers hostel in the DR, and I enjoyed this place although the facility was a bit lacking and as usual in hostels the kitchen was well used and abused. friendly place though of course!
