This is the best place to stay if you want to see the arribada of turtles! The starting point of the tours is just right across the street. Ostional is quite far to drive from other locations, it is advisable to drive there in daylight and stay in the village for a night. The house is basic but comfortable, the rooms have AC and stable wifi. The hosts were super kind depsite the language barrier.

The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful, they literally created a magic atmosphere in this place, they made my stay magic. I stayed almost a week instead of a single night! Very clean place, good facilities and the kitchen is complete. There’s free coffee in the morning.

I've stayed at Casa Terra for almost 4 weeks because I went to Intercultura Language School nearby to learn Spanish. I felt very comfortable and at home at Casa Terra. It was always very clean. Also, I enjoyed being surrounded by nature and since it was not on the main road, it was really quiet at night. The walk to the beach is about 8 minutes, the walk downtown around 15 minutes. The volunteers Constance and Carolina as well as the owners were always happy to help with questions and organizing tours and often hung out with us at the hostel. I can fully recommend staying there.

Excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly and helpful with anything you might need and a nice chilled vibe around the place. Since it's a little outside the town too it's nice and peaceful at night.

The location of the hostel is perfect, really close to the beach. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere in the hostel is very social. There are different activities every day, like bonfire or beer pong. The rooms have A/C and lockers, which is really nice. I would definitely recommend to stay at this hostel if you come to Samara!

Annie and her large number of sisters went out of her way to make us feel at home. Even accommodating us to stay an unplanned extra night in the same room. Everything was as shown on the site and the big washing lines for drying clothes were an extra bonus.
