This is the best place to stay if you want to see the arribada of turtles! The starting point of the tours is just right across the street. Ostional is quite far to drive from other locations, it is advisable to drive there in daylight and stay in the village for a night. The house is basic but comfortable, the rooms have AC and stable wifi. The hosts were super kind depsite the language barrier.

the owners were really friendly and took us on some trips to beaches and waterfalls, they made coffee for us in the morning and there was a cooking night with nice pad thai, they have a baby dog at the hostel who joined us everywhere, even after only two nights it was a little bit sad to say goodbye.

The owner/general manager, Kiban, and his entire staff were helpful, sensitive and attentive to my needs and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The kitchen areas were very clean and well-stocked with appliances and cooking utensils.and the entire facility was comfortable, safe and very well-maintained. The price and the facilities are probably the best value-for-dollar places to stay in Samara. Highly recommended, particularly for backpackers on the earlier side of life.

Argdivan Beach Hostel in Sámara is an absolute gem! The location is incredible, right next to the beach, and the atmosphere is super welcoming and chill. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and they are a great resource for local tips. Everything is clean, and the common areas are perfect for meeting new people. Highly recommend for any traveler visiting Guanacaste!
