Excellent location, easy walk into town but far enough away to be quiet. Property overlooks the ocean, amazing sunrises. Naty was a wonderful host, very accommodating and helpful with local information.

I loooove it! The personal its so nice, the place its absolutely beautiful, like a little oasis in the jungle! The vibes are really relax and the pool its perfect after the beach!! Im staying longer that I planned hehhee thanks you guys!!!

Located just across the street from one of the entrances to the beach, the hostel is easily accessible for anyone who wants to go surfing or just enjoying the beautiful beach. Rooms and common facilities are kept very nice and clean and the place just has a really nice vibe to it - also mainly due to the owner Marco, who does everything to ensure a good experience for the people staying there. For us that meant guidance in the area, advice and booking of transportation for our onwards travels. 10/10 for Marco and his energy and good spirits.

An absolutely spectacular experience. The private rooms are super comfortable and have everything you need. It’s just steps from the beach and packed with all kinds of fun group activities. I was a solo traveler, and Roie—the awesome community manager—made sure I had the best time. He brought me into the group and made sure I didn’t miss a single thing: dinners, parties, painting sessions, day tours. Can’t recommend it enough!

Very cozy hostel with very nice owners who will leave you as friends. Everything is very clean and well thought out. The hostel is quiet and offers surfing lessons. It was just perfect and I would stay there again anytime.

the staff absolutely made this hostel! so friendly and happy to help with everything from the minute we got there. they make everyone feel so welcome - there is a lovely social but chilled atmosphere here. it is located between the north and south of santa teresa so both are in easy walking distance despite it feeling a little out of town. the dorms were small but it didnt matter as we had curtains which felt very private. my favourite hostel of the trip

We had the most wonderful 11 day stay at Salty. The property is beautiful, in the jungle, but perfectly located near the beach/shops/restaurants. It is quiet, feels very safe, and is very clean with a cleaning lady there daily. The staff and owners are so friendly and helpful, and are always working to improve the property and surroundings. And the four dogs living on site are absolutely delightful! It is great value for money. We fell in love with Salty and were so sad to leave! We hope to be back some day. Thanks again 😊
