I stayed for 4 nights at Luminosa and I would have loved to expand my stay but it was fully booked! The hostel has everything you could ask for: Big, spacious kitchen with lot of equipment and free coffee, clean and comfortable rooms, hammocks, a balcony and a terrace, a little garden, right at the beach with a little private beach. It‘s not far from the center, has various restaurants in near distance and is only 5 minutes from the Montezuma water falls. They offer laundry service for a few dollars too. The staff is great as well, especially Luis! Ask him about the natural pools :) Definitely the best hostel I stayed at in Costa Rica.

Have stayed at Pura Vida Hostel Montezuma many, many times throughout my travels to Costa Rica. Each time returning to beautiful Montezuma I book myself in to Pura Vida Hostel. Love this hostel. Clean, friendly and with helpful staff members. Thank you guys for being so very welcoming.

It’s a really nice hostel! love the pool and the sofas in the chilling-room, very good for takin naps!!<3 stayed at pura Vida 2 times during my stay in Santa teresa because I liked it so much, mostly coz of the volunteers that work there<3 they were so nice and helpful and really created such a nice, welcoming and joyful atmosphere:) perfect for a solo traveler! recommend!

Great staff and very clean. Good kitchen and the breakfast was really tasty. Two of us are gluten free and this was no problem at all, which we appreciated alot. The location is also perfect, close to everything! We recommend so much. Best hostel (of 4 different) we stayed at in Santa Teresa.

I really liked the whole vibe! Everything was very clean and organized, the bed in the dorm was comfortable with good quality bedding, and there was plenty of space to store personal items! The kitchen had everything you need there. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had great pressure as well as hot water!

This is the best value place in Santa Teresa. The owner Gabi is super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the pods which were very private and good with the air conditioning. The kitchen is super well equipped and has two hobs and a huge fridge so there is always space to cook. The location is also good and only a few minutes walk to the beach.

The best hostel in Santa Teresa, the owners are super nice and helpful. They have two amazing dogs, I would highly recommend staying in Salty. The rooms are very nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped as well.
