Casa Jade was a great base in Brake Bay. The view from our balcony was amazing. We loved watching sunsets from the hammock and listening to the massive gathering of parrots each evening. We also regularly saw hummingbirds and tucans. The room itself was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The little kitchenette was very handy and a larger kitchen was available next door if we needed to cook anything. Although there are decent restaurants in the village, it was nice to pop next door to the well stocked supermarket to get stuff for nice breakfasts etc. on the beautiful balcony. Henar was the real star of this stay though! She arranged our transport from Sierpe (a fun experience) and a tour to Corcovado at short notice and with a smile. She was efficient, helpful and always smiling!

Located on the edge of the jungle. Observation deck excellent for watching birds. A troupe of capuchin monkeys visited us on the deck after breakfast to partake their meal of bananas. Juan Carlos was very helpful arranging transport. The evening meal was delicious, Juan Carlos is a great cook.

Gabriel and the staff were awesome! He helped me book a last minute Corcovado tour and boat back to sierpe, as well as letting me know about wildlife spotted in the area. He was so super helpful! The tents are very comfortable with electricity and a fan. The location is in the middle of the jungle on a beautiful beach with so much wildlife around.

As was stated in the previous reviews, the accomodation is super nice, comfy, well equipped, in a beautiful location further from the town in the middle of the nature, if you travel by car, the 4x4 wheel is needed to get there, and if you dont have a car (like us), I still recommend this place! Mike is a great host, friendly, very helpful, nothing was a problem, very cool, giving us tips, managing arrangements for us... We really enjoyed our stay here. Pura vida!
