Hostels in Zhangjiajie

Given that the room rates were extremely affordable, I expected no-frills accommodation but was blown away by the quality of our stay. My room was very clean, well-furnished and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable, the shower gels felt and smelt really nice, and the amenities (western-style toilet, AC and hairdryer, etc) worked perfectly. The location is also great, away from the noise of the main road but near the food street and within easy access of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Zhong Chao and Guojun went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable and convenient. They were always on hand to arrange tickets and rides, patiently answered every random question we had, even had tea with me while waiting for my friend to be ready and helped my friend buy medicine when she got sick. I’ve stayed at many hostels/ hotels around the world, but the service here is by far the most thoughtful, thorough, and sincere I’ve ever received.

The room was bigger than expected and the staff is the most kind and helpful people I have ever met! Wonderfully helpful. Booked everything for us and sat with us for as long as we needed to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I wish we had time to stay longer.

I had an amazing stay here! The host was not only incredibly kind and friendly, but also went above and beyond to help with anything I needed. When my drone broke, he even took it to a shop to get it repaired. I’m so grateful I got to spend my time in Zhangjiajie at this place. Truly recommended! 😊

This hostel is amazing! I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hostel as a solo female traveler! The staffs were incredibly friendly and helpful, which immediately put me at ease. It's truly excellent value for money. My bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly. Having lockers inside the room was a huge plus for security and peace of mind. A really nice touch upon arrival was receiving shower gel, toilet paper, slippers, and a toothbrush – perfect when you're trying to pack light! What really stood out was their understanding of female travelers' needs. During an unexpected situation, I found myself without essential feminine hygiene products. I hesitantly asked a female staff member if they had any available for purchase or if she knew where I could get some nearby. To my immense relief and appreciation, she discreetly provided me with what I needed free of charge. Overall, I felt very safe, respected, and well taken care of here. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I recommend this hostel highly enough to other women traveling alone.
