I loved staying at hicozy, the staff were super nice and helpful, the room was cosy and the communal areas were very nice to stay in as well. I was allowed to leave my suitcases in storage while exploring the city and charged my phone when collecting the suitcase even after checking out.

It's a very smart decision to stay at Desti Youth Hostel for my trip in Shanghai. While I was still comparing different hostels in Shanghai, I found out that Desti Shanghai had just opened. It's a chain youth hostel in China. I’ve stayed at their hostels in Chengdu, Xi’an and Hangzhou before! It was a truly pleasant experience. The hostel maintains excellent standards, with very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The common area features a retro-style design that’s really beautiful, and there’s also a great value coffee shop right at the entrance. I’d highly recommend it.

I stayed at a Dengba hostel near Guilin Park Metro Station in Shanghai, and the location was really convenient. It’s about a 7–8 minute walk from the station, which is on Lines 9, 12, and 15, so getting to Xujiahui, People’s Square, and other places was smooth. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so I didn’t have to go far for meals or supplies. The staff were professional and friendly. I arrived a bit early, and they helped me store my luggage and patiently answered my questions about transportation and the area. Check-in and check-out were quick, and they responded promptly when I needed help. The room was clean and tidy; overall, it was a hassle-free stay with good value.

i'm traveling by Bicycle, the hostel has a big storage romm where i easily could storage my bike for 10 days the staff QQ and li where really nice and did help me a lot :) it's close to the metro station, so you reach the bund in round about 15 min
