The hostel was very active with travelers of all ages. A little on the outside of town, but good location right next to the bus stop or 7-10 minutes to the tram and train station.

The Oldtown Hostel Otter and its old-established Wüste Bar is a stylish place for the young-at-heart in Zürich's Old Town, about 300 metres from the Zürich-Stadelhofen train station and the lake.

The location was great, right near the hostel there is a bus stop, and the bus goes directly from/to the main railway station. My main destination was Rheinfall Waterfall, and I traveled with only one bus there and back. Breakfast was amazing, with very fresh bread, and a great choice buffet.

I arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning. I received a friendly greeting, despite it being quite late. The room was comfortable and I had all I needed. The bathroom was of a high standard. Very clean. The property was an easy walk to everything, including the station.
