The person in charge was such a nice person, he escorted me to the bus stop with an umbrella the morning I left to make sure I didn't get wet. He was also very helpful about what to see in Salvador and how to get to places. The location couldn't be better, midpoint between the historic centre and beaches/ historic lighthouse, all within walking distance. The neighbour is lined with big old trees and nearly the hostel are museums, particularly the Museum of Art where people can view (currently) Carybé"s sketches of Bahía and his time in Salvador. Very nice indeed.

Functional hotel walking distance from pelhouriño, so very comfortable position. The receptionist was kind and welcoming, he spoke only Portuguese but we understood each other somehow. Room was clean, bed comfortable and air conditioning worked fine! Good complimentary coffee in the morning. I worked very ok for my short passage in Salvador!

On my last day, while I was entering the kitchen to make my coffee, the manager very generously offered me free coffee! Thank you very much 😅😉 The place is very nice, comfortable, spacious, clean, very nicely located close to the beach. Good WiFi, nice kitchen. One tip to have amazing quality/price dinner if you stay there: Go to "MV Delicatessen" (type it on Google Maps). They have buffet for only 40 reais/kg after 19h. Also the snorkeling in the nearby beach left of the Morro do Cristo (when you face the ocean) is very nice 👍🏼

I loved literally everything. I have stayed in many hostels and guesthouses around the world in many continents, but this one really stands out. It is probably my favourite place I have ever been to. If this place is available, BOOK IT NOW! Amazing location in the heart of the Cultural centre, fantastic people, warm and social hosts as well as special guests. the STAFF IS AMAZING! AMEII. They don't speak a perfect English but they are trying and they know enough i shared a room with other 3 girls which was ok. the apartments are way better. the location is perfect, 3 minutes away from pelourinho and that street is very safe!! i had ones of the best memories there
