Awesome location, great facilities, great hosts. We stayed in the private room with bathroom, so we basically had a hotel-like experience but for a better price. Besides, there were common areas that we could have used if required (kitchen, room with TV, etc).

A fabulous find! A very Bohemian pousada. Thiago's distinctive, colourful work adorns the walls and he couldn't have been more helpful and generous. His English is a little better than my Portuguese so we could have a good chat. He had a long term guest who spoke excellent English also.

It was a great stay in this hostel, one of the best ones I've stayed at! - breakfast was included (even if not a perfect one) - everything was very clean, including the toilets! - great view from the room - very peaceful and quiet - good internet to work - great location! - they allowed a later check-out

This is the nicest and the friendliest hostel on Earth! I loved this place!!! I stayed in a female dorm - it was awesome because there are no bunk beds! Mattress was super comfortable, room was spacious enough and it had this vibe of a mountain house (just a heads up there is a lot of stairs - first to the hostel, then to the dorm - not a problem just a remark for people with reduced mobility or ginormous suitcases). It seemed like a mixed dorm had a beautiful view over main square and from the kitchen there was a view over the town, all the churches and the mountains. But the most important thing were the people! This hostel has such a nice vibe you seriously just want to stay there forever! It has all the Rodney (owner) personality and the volunteers were the nicest people on Earth! It was also super clean, couldn’t be better located and seriously- It’s just perfect! Loved, LOVED this place ❤️❤️❤️

Very nice hostel almost in the center and the old town (very short walking distance). Guys that are working there doesn't speak English (like almost nobody in Brasil) but they are very welcoming and friendly and communication goes easily.
