Before coming to Rio, I was a bit worried about safety, but this hostel completely put my mind at ease. It has its own secure entrance, which made me feel very safe. The metro station is just a few minutes’ walk, making transportation super convenient. There are several supermarkets nearby, which is very handy, and the beach is only about a 20-minute walk away—perfect for a stroll or relaxing. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely choose this hostel again next time I visit Rio!

how much I loooved this hostel. It’s the perfect combination between social/ party and privacy/ quiet time. The beds are the best with curtains, light, plugs and a big shelf for your stuff. Breakfast was great as well and the staff (and owner) was so welcoming and friendly. Absolutely loved the girls bathroom, it was so much fun getting ready together etc, everything was cleaned daily. You could say maybe the only downside is the locations but honestly I wouldn’t say so. It all felt very authentic and real. We even went to a local samba party in the street. The beach is at walking distance and very cosy with lots of restaurants. I can only 1000x recommend the hostel!

One of the best hostel I’ve ever stayed! The place is incredible and clean, the staff is so kind and makes you feel like home, and even better than that. The swimming pool and the private mountain with the amazing view on Rio are the cherries on the top. I highly recommend it!

It’s private, and though there is noise around the area, not a single peep came into the room. There was a leak in our room and they immediately swapped us out with ease honestly I haven’t stayed in a nice accommodation and I have stayed in some pretty fancy places for work.

The hostel is amazing! I ended up staying 10 more days because I loved it so much. Everything is new and super clean … it has everything you need …. great location, comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, fast internet, TV with Netflix, and a delicious breakfast. Right next door there’s a lovely coffee shop and a bar that plays samba on the weekends, it honestly feels like a dream to be there! The owner and his wife are incredibly kind; one morning I overslept and they even saved breakfast for me 😍 The location is perfect: close to Santa Teresa, just one street away from the famous Gloria Sunday market, and near the metro station. The area feels safe, and you can truly feel the real Rio vibes. 🌴

A beautiful hostel in a great location. Very easily accessible by car and enough places to eat reachable by foot. The staff were friendly and patient, also accessible if you don't speak a lot of Portuguese.
