Excellent Stay at Hostel Nr. 1 ThI’d like to share my positive experience at Hostel Nr. 1. Despite many house rules, the atmosphere was peaceful and well-managed. A senior Russian-speaking lady, with limited English, handled everything efficiently using voice translation—her dedication was admirable. The bathroom and WC were exceptionally clean and always stocked with toilet paper. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the balcony with three chairs offered a lovely touch. High-speed internet worked perfectly, and even hidden areas like under the bed were spotless. It was the best hostel for restful sleep, with no noise or unwanted interaction. A true haven of calm.

A very cozy hostel with functional kitchen and a large common room. Multiple showers and toilets in each floor. The hostel organizes events including free pancake day. The 80s windbreaker guy at the reception is super. Even if it is not specific to the hostel: Sofia tap water tastes absolutely amazing.

I like that they booked me a single bed... the new building is spacious, Im glad they booked me there since the main hostel is already full. The new building is quiet, there is no lounge where you stay. I Like that since I am just travelling for few days so I needed a place to stay.

Great garden, shared spaces and facilities! Really comfortable bed and nice sheets, slept very well. The rooms were also nice and cool, good shower and good sized bathroom. And good spaces to make food and hot drinks. We were made to feel welcome and really enjoyed our stay!

People are incredibly spoiled. They want to pay only 10 euros and sleep in the city center, almost in the pedestrian zone, and if possible get a jacuzzi in the room for that money. We read the comments carefully before booking these rooms. They're not perfect, but they're far better than the reviews we've read.
