Thank you to the Roamer St Kilda hostel and the entire team who work there. A special thanks to Marit and Anna. I was warmly welcomed, and I loved the many activities offered to socialize and meet new people. The hostel is in a perfect location, and I had a beautiful private room. I also really enjoyed the terrace with the bar! I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely come back. Thank you to the whole Roamer St Kilda team! Adam Farid B.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the common areas are kept clean, there is good water pressure, the showers are spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. And the best part is that the staff is super friendly and there are always group activities. Everything is excellent!

Our room was amazing! We had so much space (no bunk beds), a nice view and a working AC. The highlight was our own bathroom. It was clean and comfy. Everyday we had a social activity and it was easier to meet new people. Next to the reception was a guy who gave us information about booking tours and possible things to do in and around Melbourne.

Stayed twice june and september this year, the place is excellent and staff are amazing. Tram is 50 metres away and Windsor train station a three minute walk. The large tv is a bonus and electronic lock with individual codes make it very safe. Kitchen is clean with plenty of utensils and will be back to stay again.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
