Very clean, big kitchen, watched spider-man in the cinema room, enjoyed the jacuzzi for myself! Made a mistake with my booking and the staff gave me a better room just for $10 extra! Great location . Comfortable double private room. I choose this backpackers for my 18 year old daughter who was travelling alone based on previous reviews that said it was ideal for solo travellers. It gives you everything you need when you stay in a hostel. It has a very social vibe, many communal space. I met many people on the rooftop. It also gives you privacy. Each floor has many private bathrooms, which include shower , toilet and sink so you can do all your things in a room, without minding other people. It is also one of very few hostels whose bunk bed has curtain… When I moved to Sydney, I can’t find any has curtain… I don’t know why it’s not a thing in Australia hostel. Most importantly, it offers decent free breakfast. It’s not common in other hostel here as well.. If I am only staying in one place for a few days, it’s really annoying to buy box of cereal and carina of milk which I won’t finish for sure. Last but not least, staff are very friendly and helpful! ;)
