Hostels in Katoomba

Fantastic place. Super generous to offer coffee, tea, milk, and cereal for breakfast. The house is very organized and clean, and the beds are comfy. There are plenty of showers and toilets (even a bath). Owners are lovely, too, very ready to help.

Kitchen was humongous and kept very clean, with massive fridges and freezers. Multiple sinks and hobs also meant I never felt like I had to jostle for space even though it was always quite busy. Really comfy dining area with power outlets for laptops. My 4-bed room was spacious and thoughtfully furnished with clothing rails, a large shelf, two chairs ('chairdrobes'), which makes it so much easier to get organised.

Such an awesome place with kind staff. Ross was great and helped us with every question we had about tracks, supermarkets, whatever. The place is really nice and homey, with an authentic backpacker feel to it. Breakfast was delicious, with everything you need and plenty of it. Ross was so great that one night we came home to find he had cooked dinner for everyone, just so we’d sit together and enjoy. The place was very clean, well furnished, and the kitchen was great for meal-making. The location was excellent — only a five-minute drive to every interesting track in Katoomba. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

nice location, spacious and comfortable living areas (shared), 2 nice fireplaces to sit at and warm up after a rainy hike, lovely personell, good location!:)
