Husband and I got a private room. Everything from checking in (early I might add) to check out was amazing. Best hostel we've ever stayed in. The private room was phenomenal and definitely worth it. Location was great. We drank at the hostel bar and the canadian bartender was AMAZING!! great hire. Definitely will recommend this place to our friends when they travel to Byron

The hostel has such a chill atmosphere and made me feel super comfortable! Unlike other hostels Wake up is clean, the right amount of social and the best activities. My favorite was the free surf board hire - Not to forget the kindest staff. Angus at the front desk was an absolute gem – he went above and beyond to help me with everything. It’s not every day you get such amazing customer service

Friendly but quiet hostel, staff are lovely, all the facilities and close to everything in town and the beach. They have a few social things going on throughout the week like yoga and zumba, lighthouse walks and bbqs. Rooms are very clean and spacious (I've stayed in 4 different rooms now), beds are comfy and I've never had to wait for the bathroom. Chilled out common areas and book exchange. Laundry machines are $5 each. Free towel on check in. Great kitchen with all the equipment you need. Good space in the fridge/cupboards. Super organised hostel - I've extended my stay several times now as i really like it.

Great location walking distance into the main parts of Byron bay and the beach. The Hostel was peaceful at night with a friendly atmosphere during the day amongst fellow guests. There is a nice outdoor space with a big lawn and outdoor benches. The showers were clean and the private double bedroom was a good size with storage and fresh clean bedding. There was a good ceiling fan.
