Such a cute little hostel-- it's super clean and feels like it's brand new. Beds are comfy and clean and hang out spaces are on point. Kitchen is massive and well stocked with TWO stoves AND TWO sinks-- a total game changer in my opinion. Staff are really knowledgeable about a myriad of things, and the hostel strives to be sustainable- loofah sponges, plastic bag reuse, etc. Also, if you stay at Antarctica Hostel in Ushuaia beforehand, you get a discount (you need to book via their website tho - ask them how first).

With scenic views of Calafate´s mountains and lake, this hostel is a 7-minute walk from downtown Calafate. It features accommodation with floor heating, free Wi-Fi, communal kitchen and laundrette.

Very grand space! All kind of hangout areas, open and closed. Ample space to store stuff, and balcony had a great view! Breakfast was very wholesome, loved it.

Bla Guest House was awesome from the moment we walked in. Although we arrived very late because our bus from Puerto Natales was 2.5 hours late, we had a warm welcome and a very nice chat with the host. Our apartment was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. It did not have a hairdryer but we asked for one when we needed it and the problem was solved immediately. The breakfast consists of sweets and bread/cereal so please keep this in mind if you're expecting a protein-rich meal. I would say it's decent for the price of the accommodation. There's also coffee and a variety of teas. PS: I rated the room sound isolation 4/5 not because the other guests were noisy, but because our window had a direct view of a neighboring garden where people partied and had parilla till late at night. But everything was calm and it really wasn't a big deal for us. We will definitely return to Bla Guest House!

The room was clean and comfortable. It was simple but had everything we needed. The location is great, very close to the main street with all shops and restaurants. But the really great thing about this place are the owners! Danny and his family are wonderful people who will help you with anything you could possibly need and besides that they are the nicest people you could imagine. You'll feel at home here and so did we!

Eugene is absolutely fantastic. I've stayed in many hostels, but he is by far the most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable owner I have ever encountered! Months before my stay he already helped me book my trip to El Calafate and Patagonia and every time I had a question he answered very extensively. Being there, I also had some questions and he also helped me every single time with honest answers. The room itself is perfect. It's not so big, but that doesn't matter since you won't be there for long anyway because there is so much to see in this area. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is pretty big :-)

Brand new property, clean and comfortable. The manager is very friendly and helpful. Its right opposite the main bus station and the taxi stand, so convenient. Walking to the center takes a little while though.
