this is amazing family ruled place! i loved everything: place, people that i've meet, how clean and warm this place is! also hospitality of owners.. i don't even have a words to describe! i forgot the bottle at check out and owner bring it to me, it was insainly nice.... also recommend to check breakfast they cook it with love as my grandma did in childhood. at last day they cooked me earlier than usual, can't describe how grateful i am to those people! location is perfect just in the old city center!

My stay at the hostel was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere here is the best! I met amazing people here. Volunteers are so cool as well as the owner who is really kind and helpful. If you go to Saranda make sure you stay at Lazy Roo Hostel. I totally recommend it.

The two brothers (the younger speaks fluently english) made sth. like a miracle with this old car-wash station in the centre of Sarande. They transformed the place in a superb "Boutique" style hostel. Have in mind the really good off-season price the breakfast was better then in any french hotel (take your own coffee with you), the shower beats most of the top notch hotels I know, and the courtyard gives the possibility to chill and connect with other travelers. Its a safe place, I even could let my bicycle there for a week for more than a fair price. Have in mind, that it is city center and its a all season party town, so do not expect a quite place for your meditation, better have good ear-plugs with you.

This newly opened hostel greatest feature is the friendly staff, and the air con in the spotless rooms as it’s been 30+ degrees outside, plenty hot water, a filtered cold water tap to top up your bottles and mountain tea.. quieter vibe not a party place suited me fine.

The owner and his mother were so nice and helpful. We felt totally welcome. We had the feeling that they had tried everything to fulfil our wishes. When we walked into town, Daniel even offered to pick us up. The location may not be central, but the rooms and also the outside area are nice and clean, the coffee for breakfast was delicious. The hospitality is priceless and at the same time you get more than enough for your money.

Perfect location. Only a couple minutes walking distance to the castle and old city. Room was very clean. Wifi worked well. Bed was comfortable. Host was lovely and gave me some suggestions for in the city. Nice added touch to give free bottled water after my walk from the bus station.
