We were super impressed about the attention to detail. Everything was given extra attention, from the coffee, salt and pepper, dishwashing tablets, toilet spray, great wifi, loved the shower, to the friendly hosts.

Netflix provided and a great breakfast. Guest house is lovely with great views from breakfast room. Christine was a superb host, she even offered to make us takeaway coffee on the morning we were leaving exceptionally early for the airport and waved us off! I would definitely go back. Thank you

The location is ideal. Gordon's Bay is a nice little town, not far from Cape Town or the airport. The setting is spectacular, with mountains and sea, and the beach is protected from major waves. There are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The town is safe and the property secure. There is a beautiful drive along the coast towards Betty's Bay, which I highly recommend. There is a colony of African penguins there. Big Skies has a small pool, which we used in the heat of the afternoon. The breakfasts were very good, and there was a decent amount of variety. I enjoy the personal attention of guesthouses and small hotels, and Kobus and Irene were excellent hosts. Conversation at breakfast and the bar with them and other guests was enjoyable. Parking is inside the property gates and is secure.

It is set in a huge secure Eco Estate surrounded by fynbos. Morning walks were magical. Rooms stunning and Joanne and Murray fantastic hosts.

We had a lovely stay with Miriam and Gary at Mooring House. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the property feels very secure behind electric gates. The hosts do everything to make your stay enjoyable and are genuine, warm, and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Everything was exactly like the photos. Super clean pool, excellent welcoming, helpful and friendly hosts. LOoved the big bathroom and bed.
