The place is located close to Vinh Long, which is easy to get to with the car ferry and a big, a scooter or Grab. Yet it feels like being out in the countryside. The people are very nice and helpful to arrange activities and the food was good and inexpensive.

A few steps away from the noisy and busy street you enter in another world! Lovely decorated and silent as it would be in another place. Such a bathroom we have never had, it is worth to see it. Yennie, the host, takes time to speak to you. We enjoyed a tour organized by Yennie: with the bikes and with the boat for 4h trough the country side.

The dinner was really good and absolutely recommendable. She answered all our questions and even booked a transfer for us to go to Phu Quoc. Moreover she showed us places to watch the sunset, so we could go there by the free bikes she offers. During the day we did a boat tour with her brother on the Mekong river which was really nice as well. When we came home Oanh prepared lunch which was also included in the 5-hour, 16 $ boat trip. Even if the rooms are quite simple (but well equipped with mosquito nets and AC) , everything was really clean and you can relax in the hammocks in front of her house.

The hosting family was more than sweet. We could use the bikes from the property, they helped us with scooters and we could ask anytime if needed anything. Food was great! The island and the property is really quiet and relaxing.

We were very happy at Happy Family Home Stay. It's a calm place surrounded by plants and garden sculptures. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food, the warmth of the staff, the swiming pool, the pool table, and even the sauna. The rooms are simple, but there's so much charm in every corner of the property. Thank you, Van, for your kind and dedicated attention.

We booked a Standard Double room but were given a room with 2 double beds. Adequate space to keep luggage and do some unpacking. Good AC (& fan). Clean bathroom. Very nice location - close to ferry from Vinh Long town. Host is an architect and speaks good English. The free bikes are nicely maintained. We loved riding the 2-3 hr loop suggested by the maps provided by the host. Note, some of those paths are narrow, not paved, have a lot of potholes/rough patches. In Mekong Delta, enjoyed this island of An Binh a lot more than Ben Tre or Can Tho due to this bike ride along narrow canals, fruit orchards and rural life. Wish we had booked for longer since it is a great place to relax and wind down. Breakfast (vegan) included bread, banana & pineapple slices along with coffee, jam, etc. To get to Ben Tre, we took 2 mototaxis that dropped us to the Futa 08 bus station. Mototaxi was booked by the host (don't rely on Grab in Vinh Long & An Binh). Loved the fact that you had some privacy and could be left alone, but were also in a homestay!

The homestay is located about 3 km from the ferry to Vinh Long (10 minutes by bike). Nestled within a spacious, beautifully planted garden with lots of hammocks where you can unwind. My room (14) was in a "stone house" and I felt very comfortable in it - it was very quiet there.  Every morning, I was looking forward to the fantastic breakfast - in addition to the daily omelette with bread, you get a plate with different fruits. But the very best part - the different mouthwatering sweets 😋 every day. And to top it all, I could enjoy a swim in the pool surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the lodge that belongs to the homestay. Together, it was a wonderful start to every day :) The island An Binh is a scenic paradise, and exploring it by bike from the homestay was an adventure in itself. Short ferry trips to neighbouring islands and towns add to the charm of this wonderful location. I had a truly memorable time on the island and at this homestay. Upon my next visit, I will undoubtedly choose Phuong Thao Homestay again.
