In a central area of Hanoi, Rik Homestay features inner courtyard views from the patio. It is located 700 metres from Thang Long Water Puppet Theater and provides a shared kitchen. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We are very grateful to Rik for his hospitality and were happy to stay at this homestay! We arrived in Hanoi late at night, around 2 a.m., and even at that hour, Rik responded to us on WhatsApp (he was always available and helped us). He allowed us to leave our suitcases in the kitchen at such a late hour and offered us free noodles (unfortunately, we didn't get to eat them😅 but thanks anyway). We want to say thank you again for this, because the flight was long and difficult, we were exhausted and didn't have to wait for check-in on the street. Before check-in, we had a chance to chat with some of the guests, who are also wonderful people, and you will feel safe here. The room itself was spacious and very clean, and the kitchen was also very clean and pleasant to be in. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. The homestay is located deep in a side street, so you can't drive right up to the entrance, but the main advantage of this is that it was always quiet there, with no noise from the road. You can also walk to the sights in a matter of minutes, and there are many restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. I forgot my headphones in the room and discovered this at the airport. Rik wrote to me about it and said that I could come back for them at any time. This gesture touched me deeply! Unfortunately, we didn't return there, but if we are lucky enough to visit Hanoi again in the future, we would definitely stay with Rik again.
