It is set less than 1 km from Hoan Kiem Lake and offers a 24-hour front desk. The property is 400 metres from the city centre and less than 1 km from Hanoi Old City Gate. The owner was very accommodating, and has a light personality he always smiles which brings a good mood, he even brought my luggage downstairs until at the street and waited for me to be picked up by a car to the airport before he went inside., about the room, there were some dust on the floor but only thin, however, the bed was cozy and the pillows were soft, I really had a good quality sleep. I can say cause I always woke up with a lower back pain but during my stay there, in the morning my back feels better. Also, it's closer to hoan kiem lake where a few minutes away through walking, and its only opposite the #86 bus stop which is quite covenient if you are going to the airport. Although we don't have same preference but for me this hotel is still budget friendly and better than other hotels if you are looking for a hotel where you can move on your own unlike in the hostels. For my own experience this is a 9/10.

Located 12 km from Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and 12 km from West Lake, Lee Homestay features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Every room comes with a balcony with views of the lake. Lee and his wife were amazing. They helped with everything we needed. We ended up staying there three times, as Lee would let us leave our belongings at his place while we did the Ha Giang loop and went to Cat Ba. They gave us great recommendations for whatever we needed and we're always willing to help. We had such a nice time at the homestay and by the time we left they felt like family!

The room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. For that price, it was the best place I've stayed so far in my trip to Vietnam and Thailand.

He helped us get from the airport to the homestay (our flight arrived at 5h30am) and hold our luggage until the room was ready. The actual room was very clean and the little balcony with chairs was very nice to relax in. We had everything we needed and our stay was very nice :)
