I have been visited tons of accomodation all around the world, and Vam Xang Rustic is definitively the top one under all point of views. The whole environment is awesome, both daytime and nightime. You will be simply surrounded by the nature of the Mekong Delta, living in rooms built in a traditonal way, for both spaces and materials. Rooms are awesome (external and internal areas), with a perfect cleaniness of all spaces and housekeeping Service in general. The service provided by the entire Staff is memorable and they go everytime the extra mile to feel guests comfortable and to help them in all kind of questions, without being annoying. For what concerns the excursion by boat - the service experienced was really fantastic and couldn't ask for more. Bycicles are also available for free and in very good conditions to explore the Mekong countryside autonomously. If you go in the Mekong Delta area of Can Tho you simply need to book with Vam Xang Rustic and don't look further as it is an outstanding experience of Mekong Delta at a very reasonable price for the full set of service provided!

He is incredibly attentive to his guests and is always there to answer your questions, guide you or simply share his knowledge about Vietnam. The location for this gem is great…you’re in a small village close to the city but it feels quite rural. We stayed 4 nights and felt very spoiled the entire time. The meals, delicious and varied, are cooked by his mother and included in the price. The bungalows are basic but comfortable and clean and the mosquito nets are very welcome. There is a nice space outside each bungalow to relax. There is no air conditioning but we found the fans he provided sufficient. His free bikes are in good condition…the best we had in Vietnam. We don’t usually do a lot of guided trips, preferring to explore on our own, but we were SO glad we did one with Human to the floating markets, noodle factory and land market. It was awesome and personal . We were alone with him and the boatman, a family member, and Human is wealth of information and speaks English very well. We were so glad not to be on one of the bigger impersonal commercial boats! I can’t say enough good things about Human and this homestay. It was my favourite 4 days in Vietnam!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff were amazing and from start to finish they treated us with extra care than what’s expected. We were a big group of 19 people and they organised everything for us in advance. The floating market tour was top notch! Cabins were great, food was great, location was great and above all the staff were extra great. 100% recommended.

Duy and staff and the owners are amazing people! It feels so comfortable, kind of like a home away from home. The location is close to a thrilling jam packed food street, the lake and pier. We walked everywhere. The bed is very comfortable and our room was cleaned and had new linens every day if you like. We enjoyed the roof top views and ge tle breeze several times. It is our second time staying here and if we return to Can Tho, we of course will stay again. There is an excellent fridge in the lobby that has a shelf for each room to use.

Both Phoenix and Bosa will treat you like family.

This has been one of my most pleasant travel experiences ever. Tuan, his family and employees are warm, fun and welcoming. The home stay is like a little oasis, with a well maintained pool and absolutely delicious food. It was great eating dinner communally and trying so many amazing local dishes and ingredients. A highlight of my entire trip in Vietnam was going to the land market with Tuan (after visiting the floating markets) and picking out food for dinner. I highly recommend doing this, as well as borrowing the bikes and exploring the streets and rivers of this pocket of the delta. The locals are absolutely lovely, as is the nature around. If you like to be kept very busy, then two nights is perfect - you can do both tours, and take yourself around on the bikes. If you are happy with a little time to relax like I am, then more nights is good! I stayed two but I wish I had stayed three or four to decompress. There are hammocks, the pool, and you can do relaxed little bike rides. I highly highly recommend! And a huge thank you to Tuan and his family, I will forever be grateful to you for letting me into your home.

The bungalows are lovely and each have a terrace with two hammocks. We also enjoyed the shared pool very much where you can play Billards next to it. The staff is quick to respond to all request and happily organize tours, massages, scooters and whatever you may need for you. We did the floating marked tour and would highly recommend it! Other than that the hosts have the cutest dogs with 4 little puppies - we still can’t get over how sweet they were!

Thanks to the family for sharing such lovely rooms with us. The house is new and beautiful, with an elevator. The dining area has a small kitchen that's fully equipped—with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishes, and even essentials like fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, and a full set of spices. Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.
