First time I stay at a place that is actually better than the photos! Absolutely incredible place, our best in Zanzibar by far. The villa in perfectly maintained, the chef’s food is best we had so far. Ralu and Lee and very welcoming. Really really recommend.

The staff was very friendly, patient and helpfull. Hassan explained us everything very well and when the Internet was not working because of a general problem, he came to explain it to us and that was very nice. The problem was very quickly solved. When the light goes off (which can happen often in Zanzibar), the generator takes over very quickly. Internet is excellent (not often the case elsewhere)! the place is located 5mn walk to Royal beach, a very good beach and 15mn walk on the beach at low tide to Nungwi beach. Very nice jazzy music not loud, delightful relaxing.

All the arrangements for so organized and also the beach is so in front of the property that you will just sit on the beach whole day and still will not be bored.

Located in Nungwi, on the quieter north east coast of Zanzibar, Game Fish Lodge is situated along the beachfront and features an in-house restaurant, bar and a sun terrace. Free private parking is offered on site. We stayed in the "Apartment with Sea View". It felt like we had our own place on the beach, but with 2 people, Colin and Lesley, who cooked us excellent breakfasts and dinners. We loved the fruit crepes. The meals were not only delicious, but. so large we always had left overs for lunch The balcony apartment is quite large and has an am,azing pato with spectacular ocean view. The pool is deep and overlooks the ocean. We had it nearly to ourselves. There is a fridge near ,the pool with beer and soft drinks at very reasonable prices. If you wish a more lively place for drinks, you can go into town or next door to the Skybar. There is direct access to the ocean and while there are sea urchins, I swan in the ocean all 3 days I was there, but made sure I was wearing wster shoes. Some days we walked along the beach several kilometers. Colin and Lesley left us yo ourselves, except during breakfsst and dinner. They were grest hosts.

A car rental service is available at the homestay. 🌴 My Stay at Tropicana Villa Nungwi I had such a wonderful time staying at Tropicana Villa Nungwi! The house is beautiful, with a lovely garden outside that makes it feel so peaceful and relaxing. All the rooms are air-conditioned and very comfortable. There’s also a shared kitchen where you can cook anytime, which I really liked. It’s only about a 13-minute walk to the beach, and they even offer car rentals if you want to explore more of Nungwi. The dining area is cozy and has a TV, which made it feel just like home. Overall, everything was perfect — clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
