Could not have wished for a better place to stay after a 30 hours long journey. I arrived far after midnight which was no problem and I could stay in the common room until 13.00 the next day so I did not have to rush the next day. Would really recommend this place!

By far the nicest accommodation we stayed in during our trip to Taiwan. The historical house in a beautiful part of Daxi has been lovingly and thoughtfully modernised by the hosts. Wonderfully comfortable in every way. The lovely lady who hosts the home stay is extremely kind and generous. She made sure we had everything we needed and is full of great tips and information about Daxi. Daxi itself is definitely worth a visit - it’s an architecturally beautiful and fascinating place to wander.

- hotel was really close to the airport : it takes 11 minutes by taxi for a cost of 215 NTD or 20 minutes by bus for a cost of 25 NTD. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and goes to both terminal ( bus #1841 or 1842) - much cheaper that staying directly at the airport - the host was so friendly and spoke really good English - free tea available - there is a variety of food and accessories you can buy from the place in case you need anything ( toothbrush, underwear, dry noodles, cookies etc )
