This is an incredibly well designed guesthouse with beautiful common areas, rooms and a lovely rooftop terrace. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We really felt taken care of.

My wife and I came here just after our wedding, not as a honeymoon but just to have a week of vacation after all the planning, organization, and stuff to do. It was the perfect place. Only 5 rooms, but each one has a particular character, the interiors, and the art they have is just amazing and completely within our tastes. We wanted to buy half the items on display there. The breakfast was just amazing. everything was fresh, and such a big choice. The staff was also so accommodating towards all our wishes, wether it was sleeping in a bit or helping with choices for restaurants and musea. We couldn't have wished for anything better and we will for sure come back when we visit Tunis again.

This place exceeded by far our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we felt like we went back in time. This boutique hotel is decorated with very very good taste, with antiques and lovely traditional items. The place is quiet, even though it is located in the medina, very close to the big mosque. The room, although not very large, was decorated in the same manner, creating a sense of peacefulness. We were welcomed by Ahmed, who was very friendly and helpful. When we return to Tunis, we will definitely stay in El Patio!

A beautiful Dar in the centre of Sidi Bou Said located on a quiet but accessible side street just metres from the action. The property was beautiful and would be great value for money for up to 4 people. I stayed myself but was still worth it! I was blown away by the traditional architecture and style of the property. Unfortunately I could only stay 2 nights, I’d loved to have stayed longer. The host was very hospitable and helped me arranging payment as you cannot yet pay by credit card. I didn’t have a car, but they offered me free parking pass at the car park nearby.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience at this accommodation in Tunisia. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and treated with genuine care. The level of hospitality I received was far beyond my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, respectful, and attentive. Every interaction felt sincere, and they truly made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. I would especially like to highlight the owner, who is also the manager of the property. Her kindness, professionalism, and personal involvement created a wonderful atmosphere that made my stay unforgettable. You can immediately feel that she puts her heart into this place. The food was exceptional ,delicious, fresh, and prepared with great attention to detail. Each meal was a highlight, and it added so much joy to my stay. What stood out the most was the warmth and friendliness of the entire team. Their genuine hospitality and positive energy made the experience feel more like visiting family than staying at a hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Tunisia. I will certainly return, and I’m grateful for the wonderful memories created during my stay.
