United KingdomIf you want to be in the old medina this place is perfect. It is also safe, I wandered around day & night by myself down these little alleys and never felt threatened - you will just meet families and people going about their lives who often say hello with a smile. The owner is super helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to monastir. If you want busyness and things to entertain you in your accommodation this isn’t but if you appreciate peace and having space to yourself it’s perfect.
