The accommodation features a tour desk, and currency exchange for guests. Forever Ko Mook is an oasis on a wonderful, small island. I chose the place by chance and was so glad I found it. I even cancelled my reservation at another property to extend my stay here. Wonderful, friendly staff, very nice small restaurant (serving great breakfast and lunch - and amazing coconut ice cream!) and nicely-tended garden courtyard make this place one not to be missed. For the money, best property on the island. Just know that it is away from the beach, but in a quieter part of the town. And everything is within easy walking distance.

This homestay offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The accommodation provides an ATM and a minimarket for guests. Lovely welcome from the hosts, and a warm family atmosphere. It’s right next to the sea, and in an area that feels very local with a few shops and restaurants nearby. We had a great breakfast every morning, and Tan brought us to see his father’s boat, for a hike and to a nice beach. Cheryln is also very cute and funny. The rooms are clean, and there’s plenty of space to sit and relax on the terrace outside.

Beautiful spacious rooms, with excellent service. The hospitality and kindness of the staff but also villagers in nearby surroundings is like we’ve never seen before. I can say we’ve made friends and they will be certainly see us back at Villa Pateh one day. When we first arrived we really looked at each other wondering if we died and went to heaven. We had seen the pictures but the place was surreal as we walked around in the homely decorated house with the calm piano music at the background. As vegans the meals were something we were slightly worried about on the first day -when we found out they mainly served local fish and meat dishes at the hotel. (which I believe would be amazing for non vegans I’m sure) But the management were so kind and helpful that the next day they found delicious solutions to make the local dishes with tofu, tempeh, mushrooms and whatnot. If you want a taste of the real Thailand, want to meet local people and if you are interested in their culture and way of living then this is the place to be. I’d thought I’d write a book as review about how an amazing time we’ve had at this place but I don’t want to ruin other people’s first impression either. Let’s say it was one of the most surprising, unexpected and uncommon holiday experience of our lives. I certainly would’ve stayed a little longer to get to know some more of these lovely locals and experience some more of that simple happiness of just being.

Really cozy place to stay and chill. The room was lovely and a traditional Thai breakfast was provided every morning along with bottles of water for the day. The best thing about the property though has to be the hosts! What a lovely couple. They were so kind to myself and my partner and made us feel very welcomed and totally at home. We had some cool conversations where one of the hosts demonstrated her impressive English! She also educated us on the 2 different types of mango trees they have on the land and also prepared one of the sweet fruits for us, it was delicious! The husband also makes his own coffee and we were lucky enough to try that too! I believe we tried a medium roast and it did not disappoint. But as a whole, the hosts really made our stay special.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house features family rooms. If you want to experience local culture, this is the place to go. San is a great host, he knows so much about what to do and see in the area, you can ask him anything. He always does his best to help you. He also took us to the local elementary school so that we could interact with the kids, for them to practice their English. Very nice experience. He also did laundry for us for a low price and cooked us some home made dinner. Everything was perfect, I would gladly come back.
